Over 60 New Social Entrepreneurs went through a peer-to-peer strategic visioning session with OHO founder and CEO Dr Jimi Wollumbin last week at the Eclipse Festival outside Cairns.

Participants identified major global patterns from economic and ecological unsustainability to the break down of community infrastructure. Major obstacles to change at an individual level were listed as apathy, overwhelm, dis-empowerment and a lack of belief in the power of one person to make a difference. Common solutions that spanned varying initiatives included strong resilient networks and a ‘one step at a time’ approach.
