After a heartbreaking personal event Nicky was left with multiple health complaints affecting her ability to work . One Health Organisation and Bioconcepts have teamed up with the good people of Hands On Health Australia to support the wellbeing of Nicky and others like her.

Bioconcepts has made a generous donation of anti-oxidant supplements to our collaborative Hands On Health Project’s clinic in Eaglehawk, Victoria. Receiving a variety of people experiencing disadvantage through their doors, the Eaglehawk clinic offers services including physiotherapy and naturopathy that they clients would otherwise not be able to access. For many of their clients, these complementary health services are a godsend after years of unsuccessful medical treatments.

Treating the challenge of health problems relating to persistent disadvantage has now been greatly assisted with the recent donation. The frequency of anxiety and stress-related disorders which cause interrupted sleep in clients has been effectively resolved using Bioconcepts products in at least 10 clients in the last month. None more so than Nicky.

Since having a miscarriage 6 years ago, Nicki has suffered from anxiety attacks and muscular cramps as well as digestive problems which affected her ability to work and participate in life.  With the support of supplements from Bioconcepts Nicki has reported an increase in energy and a significant decrease in anxiety.  Nicki has now enrolled in a community art class where she will participate and support other participants using her artistic skills which have been unutilised for too long.

“Now that my anxiety and physical issues are under control I am really looking forward to being able to participate in my community.  Thanks to Eaglehawk Community Hands on Health and to Ally as well as the wonderful people who donate the supplements, I am now in control of my life and I love it.” – Nicky

It’s deeply satisfying to see how some simple donations and a little bit of teamwork from Bioconcepts, OHO and Hands On Health has enabled our Eaglehawk project to help others help themselves.
